Missing Elderly Man Found Dead in Central Kashmir's Brenwar After Three Weeks

A man who had been missing for three weeks was found deceased in the Brenwar area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday.

After being missing for three weeks, an elderly man was found dead in Brenwar, Central Kashmir. Police were called to the scene, where they discovered the man's body. 

The man, an elderly individual from the Noorbagh area of Srinagar, was identified as Abdul Raheem Bhat, aged between 55-60 years. The police were informed of the discovery of the body by locals near Power Receiving Station Brenwar.

According to a police spokesperson, there were no visible marks of violence on the body, and preliminary examination suggested that the cause of death was cold. The body has been sent for further medical-legal examinations at the GMC Srinagar.
